Smile Makeover Case Study

Cliff was unhappy with the appearance of his teeth. His teeth were breaking down and his bite did not feel right, effecting his chewing. Close up photo.

Close up view with cheek retractors in place showing the patient initially and his bite. This was a nice case because it incorporated several restorative procedures including composite bonding, implants, crowns, bridges and a partial denture. Shows his upper front four teeth conservatively bonded with composite (tooth colored) material. While the healing was taking place around the implant, the patient wore temporary crowns and interim partial dentures to stabilize his bite. This served as a good trial to see how he would tolerate his new bite.

This picture shows the permanent crowns and bridge returned from the lab on a stone model. This picture shows the upper four front teeth restored with composite, crowns, including the implant, and bridges cemented in place.

This view of his upper teeth was taken through a mirror. It shows the permanent crowns, implant crown and front teeth restored. This view of his lower teeth was taken through a mirror and shows the permanent crowns, bridges, and partial denture.

This picture shows the mouth completely restored (composites, crowns, bridges and partial dentures in place). An esthetically pleasing result and most importantly the patient's bite is stable so that he can function and chew without problems. Cliff smiling, pleased with the result.
