| After 8 weeks of healing, Tom's old crowns were removed, the teeth were prepared and temporary crowns were placed. While the patient wears these for a couple weeks, we can make sure his bite is comfortable and he likes the overall esthetics of the temporary crowns. These serve as a nice guide for the laboratory technician when he makes the permanent crowns. |

| Because of the patient's open bite, he functions and chews with his back teeth. It was important to give him good, stable support on these teeth. A three unit bridge and three single crowns were treatment planned along with conservative whitening to lighten up his lower front teeth. |
