Did you know each February since 1949 the American Dental Association has sponsored National Childrens Dental Health Month to raise the awareness about the importance of good oral health? Our philosophy has always been to educate patients so that they can participate in maintaining their dental health for a lifetime. Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits can help children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Over the years our office has talked to hundreds of kids mainly Pre-K through 2nd grade at St. Madeline Sophie, Christ the King, Pinebush, and Lynwood elementary schools about the importance of good oral health. During this month we look forward to reaching out into the community and visiting these schools. We feel that good oral health is an important part of a child’s overall health. With proper diet and regular dental visits, children can have a healthy and happy smile for a lifetime.
My staff and I are very happy to announce we are settling into our new state of the art practice and are accepting new patients. Please feel free to call the office and schedule an appointment for your little ones.
